I have purchased a Zebco 33NP Spin Cast Reel in Platinum.  What is the best Lubricant requested for use on this reel? 

Also I want to say I purchased a Zebco 33 reel in about 1956, and it lasted me until it and my rod and reel was stolen in 2023.  It was a Perfect reel for me and it was a Joy us use.  Just bought the above reel and hope it will last at least half as long.  Great Reels.

  I also have a 33 platinum and I use Super Lube grease with TPFE.  I use it on the gears and drag washers.  Works well.  Your platinum will last a good while if you service it.  The only weak point is the retainer that holds the rotor bearing.  Just be careful removing it and you should be fine. It's plastic and will strip out.  Sorry to hear about your ‘56 rod and reel.  I actually own several vintage 33’s from '57 on up.
